It is almost time. Our plane awaits. Getting here was a tad stressful. We accidentally took the I-45 HOV lane and were trapped, yes trapped, on it for almost 30 minutes going south past our exit! I had a cow, I think it was of the Chick-fil-A breed, because I could not get off the HOV.
We finally were released from the belly of the HOV beast, got gas, returned our rental car, took the shuttle to our terminal and proceeded to check-in. They weigh our bags and the first two are not just under, they are several pounds (or kilos for our friends in the rest of the world) under and we were patting ourselves on the back. Like my beloved Baylor Bears in the Cotton Bowl, we were celebrating a little too early. Our last bag was about five pounds over weight. :(
After some shuffling of stuff between suitcases we were good to go. Now we have filled our stomachs with an All-American breakfast of pretzel bites from Auntie Anne's, some yogurt, a giant cinnamon bun from Cinnabon and a great big Dr. Pepper.
Flight is boarding very soon. Super excited. We land in Seoul, South Korea in 15 hours and we won't be able to post again for probably another 24 hours.
